2009 TreeFest

The 21st annual TreeFest will be November 20 through 24, 2009 in the Warren Performing Arts Center. This year's theme is "Holiday Splendor". Approximately 40 permanently decorated holiday trees will be on display during the event. Continuous family entertainment will be on the auditorium stage. The holiday gift shop will feature many specialty items.

Decorator's efforts are recognized in six categories by a panel of judges. Purchasers who bought a winning tree and the decorator who decorated it will receive a special plaque.

The buffet dinner and live/silent auctions will be November 21 in the Community Life Center. Numerous items will be available for bid. Advance reservations are required by November 9. Call the WAEF office, 317-869-4383 for dinner/auction tickets. Ticket prices are $30 per person or $240 for a table of eight.

"Holiday Splendor" the 2009 Holiday TreeFest, will be open to the public during the following hours:
Friday, November 20 from 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, November 21 from 12 Noon to 4 p.m.
Sunday, November 22 from 12 Noon to 8 p.m.
Monday, November 23 from 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, November 24 from 3:30 to 8 p.m.

TreeFest is in the Warren Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of Warren Central High School, 9500 East 16th Street, Indianapolis.

Attend to get ideas for decorating your trees, enjoy the entertainment and shop in the festive gift shop. There may be a few of the permanently decorated trees for sale. The seasonal decorations and the special entertainment will help get you in the holiday spirit.
